The Hahnel PowerCUBE Wireless Charger is a wireless induction stand-alone phone charger, and can also be used as an accessory for the Hahnel ProCube and ProCube 2. Ideal desktop charger this fast wireless charger is perfect for camera batteries, mobile phone & other compatible wireless devices with just one charger. Charges through phone cases of up to 3mm thick. The PowerCUBE uses induction charging technology according to the Qi standard.
Qi is the Chinese word for “energy flow“ and is pronounced "chee" as in "cheese". Qi is currently the universal standard for wireless charging of compatible battery operated devices like smart phones, iphones, iPods, and some cameras. The device's battery is charged through wireless power transfer via electromagnetic induction with Qi compatible devices.
1. It can be connected to a hahnel PROCUBE or PROCUBE 2 via Micro USB socket to sequentially charge camera battery and mobile phone.
2. Connect to a suitable QC (QuickCharge) enabled device via Micro USB socket to enable 9V fast charging. The fast-charging capability reduces the overall wireless charge time by up to approximately 30 minutes (dependent on phone model).
3. Use as a stand-alone wireless charger. Minimalistic design - ideal to use as a desktop charger. Just connect to your laptop to charge.
When fast charging at 9V, the charging is done at 9V rather than the traditional 5V USB charging. This 9V is enabled when a QC USB adapter is used to power the PowerCUBE, enabling faster charging.
